Media organisation Czech News Center now has 3 463 000 readers, representing a 6% growth – by 182 thousand readers compared to last year. Daily Blesk remains the most read daily paper with 909 000 readers. The only title in the Czech Republic with over a million readers remains Blesk magazine with 1 186 000 readers.
CNC also has the most read paid magazine, Nedělní Blesk, with 515 000 readers. Free of charge daily E15 is one of the few on the market to have seen a year-on-year improvement, specifically by 4 % to 74 000 readers.
2018’s second and third quarters were marked by many year-on-year readership increases. Weekly Reflex now has 271 000 readers, which is a 13 % year-on-year increase, and also the second best result in the last almost 5 years. It is also the clear market leader in its segment.
Moje psychologie has gained 11 000 new readers in a year, representing a growth of 13 %. Maminka saw a year-on-year readership increase of 22 % - 141 000 readers is the second best result over the last over five years. Blesk Zdraví increased its readership base by 10 %, Dieta by as much as 28 %. Weekly Aha! pro ženy was the only title in the cheap weekly segment with a year-on-year increase in readership numbers of 9 % to 124 000.
In the motoring segment, Svět motorů consolidated its market leader position with 192 000 readers, 2 % higher than last year. Bimonthly AutoTip Klassik also saw great results with 64 thousand readers, representing a growth of over 50 %.
ForMen managed to increase its readership base in a year by almost half to 55 000. The most recent data has also shown a new record! Monthly Lidé a země is now read by 147 000 readers, which is a year-on-year increase of 19 % and the best result in four and a half years! In the IT magazine segment, Computer consolidated its position with a year-on-year addition of 13 % more readers, the title now read by 89 000 people.
