The Sport daily newspaper has been published since 1953 as the only sports daily in the Czech Republic. It also includes the Tuesday supplement, Czech Ice Hockey, Wednesday’s Czech Football and Friday’s Sport magazine with television listings focused on sports broadcasts. Every day, approximately 250 000 people read Sport – just for comparison this is equivalent to thirteen filled Letna football stadiums next to each other. Sport’s content priorities are original interviews, topics, sports analyses and commentary and a statistics and results service.
